What Types of Leather Do We Use?
We use different types of leather because each product needs a specific kind.
Pull-Up Leather: This leather is treated with oils and waxes. You can keep it looking shiny and clean by rubbing it with cotton every month or so. It lasts about 5-6 years.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather: This is super durable leather, lasting around 7-9 years. It doesn’t have wax or oil but gets a nice patina over time.
Nubuck Leather: It feels soft like velvet. We use thick pieces to keep it feeling the same. It looks and feels great.
Crust Leather: Great for things we shape by hand, like cigarette cases. It doesn’t have wax or oil but ages nicely like pull-up leather.
Hair-On Leather: We don’t use this much, but it’s in our cigarette cases.
